Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As our first dedicated DevOps professional, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and scaling our infrastructure. Collaborating closely with our development team and CTO, you will lead initiatives to enhance our deployment processes, manage cloud resources, and ensure the reliability and performance of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline our software delivery.
- Infrastructure as Code: Complete and manage our transition to Terraform, ensuring all infrastructure is defined and maintained as code.
- Cloud Management: Oversee and optimize our cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.
- Database Optimization: Collaborate with developers to optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability.
- Tech Stack Consolidation: Assess and streamline our existing technology stack to improve efficiency and maintainability.
Requirements:
- Experience: Mid to senior-level experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in AWS, Docker, Redis, NGINX, Terraform, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working closely with development teams to achieve shared objectives.
